Mustard

Ever since I pieced this outfit together a week or two ago I have been in love. I recently found my love for polo necks when battling on whether or not they would suit me. After a lot of questioning I decided to go for the classic yet underrated look...more often than I care to admit .This top I managed to save out of my mums castaways when she was clearing out her wardrobe, she may have not wanted it but I saw A LOT of potential. Especially with my generation these were associated with more older women and certainly not something you'd class as fashionable but if they are worn right and are the right colour (not pattern, personal opinion) and fabric then they can give that sophisticated french look. My skirt was a boxing day sale purchase...although it wasn't in the sale. There were a few different ones to choose from but with my aim to be more bold with colours I thought I'd give the mustard a go, and with the delicate/arty flower print it gives such a cute look to what would be a plain skirt. It's always a tricky colour and the right person has to wear it, so I hope that I can as my love for this skirt is endless and it goes with way more than you think. The platform shows were also a boxing day purchase but from in the sales last year. With my short height, heels that are comfy, easy to walk in and that are down right beautiful are a must have for me. I wear these shoes pretty much everyday as I am still waiting to buy another pair to alternate between, as as of yet nothing has come close. This outfit was worn for college. This was a lot more casual than what the usual dress code for a smart dressing college would be but I got away with it with long Zara coat I teamed it with., At the time I took my photos I didn't have my coat, but it's a guarantee that it will be in later blog posts.
