FINALLY! The major announcement for the majority of acts hitting Reading and Leeds Festival this year has been announced! Although I'm still not sure whether to thank the OfficialRandL social media pages or Frank Carter for the early announcement...one thing I am certain about is that for the fifth year in a row I will once again be going to Reading and Leeds Festival. I was a little unsure at first, as although there were a few acts who were definitely worth seeing, the lineup didn't scream a MUST-DO for me until the latest release.
So here's a little inside into who I'm excited about seeing, a Spotify playlist full of songs from the acts I love, and whether or not I'll try Reading again or return back to Leeds...
WHO AM I EXCITED FOR?

READING OR LEEDS?
Last year for the first time I decided to go to Reading Festival and see why it seems to attract a lot more attention, festival go-ers, press and media coverage than Leeds does. Living an equal distance from Reading and Leeds means it's easy for me to attend either but for the first few years I always went to Leeds Festival because family and friends in previous years had gone there and loved it and I'd started to enjoy it myself. I wanted to experience the Reading hype myself so tried it out last year and I certainly had a great time!
But although Reading certainly had that energetic vibe, I will definitely be returning to Leeds Festival again. There's something about the environment that northerners create and the appreciation for music that flows throughout the festival that I enjoy so much more....and also there isn't a grueling 25 minute walk to the entrance and campsite like there is at Reading.
Who else is ready and waiting for Reading and Leeds 2016?!
