Adding jewellery to an outfit can take it from average to the perfect look. I'm a massive fan of all types of jewels and I'm always wearing something. The lovely folks over at Buckley London sent me some beautiful bracelets. Buckley London are award winning fashion and costume jewellers who have been providing best quality jewellery for years. I recieved the the Sparkle Mesh Bracelets. Each bracelet has a different charm a kiss, a heart and a band, which are each embellished with crystals, on a bracelet of mesh in rhodium, black rhodium gold or rose gold. I adore these bracelets and not only are they great to wear everyday as something a little special but they look stunning as a formal piece. I love stacking bracelets which these are perfect for but for one statement piece, one is just right

Lipsticks are probably one of my favourite beauty products to buy, especially cheaper drugstore finds. Who doesn't love finding cheap alternatives?! Even though it's getting nearer spring I still love the dark lip look but that doesn't stop me from also heading towards a nude and fresh look.
MUA Matte Lipstick Wild Berry (£1) After watching Maddie Bruce's YouTube video's religiously lately (click the link - I seriously recommend...her videos are amazing!) I found out that she loves the MUA lipsticks and I now understand why! They are only £1 and for the price the quality is great! The first one I purchased was in the shade Wild Berry. For a darker lip which still clearly shows the pink/purple shades it holds, the lipstick is great and the matte looks last all day.
MUA Matte Lipstick Totally Nude (£1) The other MUA lipsticks I bought is in the shade Totally Nude. I struggle to find nude lipsticks which don't make it look like I'm trying to work the unfortunate 'concealer on lips' trend (god knows why anyone tried that) and for such a low price as well. MUA's shade has just enough of a light peachy/pink tone to keep it from going too pale and a lovely shade to wear.

Collection Lip Definer Damson (£2.79) It's been months since I've owned a lip liner and after picking up the Wild Berry MUA Lipstick I felt like a new lip liner was needed. The Collection lip definers caught my eye and I thought I'd give them ago. They apply so well and this shade looks great with the MUA lipstick. If you have a shaky hand though this shade is a risky one as the slightest bit out of line is noticeable.
Collection Lip Definer Nude Pink (£2.79) Not only for a match for the nude but because Nude lip liners are great for lining with many shades, this was an essential. I am OBSESSED with this shade and the dark nude colour goes great with so many lipsticks or just used a lip coverage on it's own. This will definitely be featured in many Instagram photos in the future.

Black Shirt - Primark
White and Blue Check Skirt - New Look
Black Loafers - New Look
*sorry for the bad quality photos, the lighting this morning was bad*
As soon as I put this outfit on this morning I wondered why I don't wear it more often..until I saw the length of my skirt and realised my school probably wouldn't approve of the length. I bought this outfit all the way back in September when I needed some clothes for my sixth form. The shirt was one of the first things I saw and at around £9 from Primark I couldn't resist...I have it in around 5 other colours but everyone needs black as well?! The skirt was an impulse buy at the end of a shopping trip. I saw it from outside the shop and the 60's mod style drew me in. I loved it so much that because they didn't have my size we got the staff in new look to ring around the other stores near me to see if they had it and half an hour later we found one that had one left...it was clearly meant to be.

I am lucky that I don't have the worst thing but when the weather suddenly changes, like this blistering cold spell, my skin tends to break out or become dry so I like to make sure I have a solid skincare routine to keep my skin in as good condition as I can. Over the years I haven't been very good with taking care of my face in the morning and night but I decided I need to make a change. I've been through various products in the past but this routine and these products are ones I'm settled with moment.
Morning Routine:
The first thing I use in the morning is the Garnier Pure Active Micellar Cleansing Water. In the mornings even though I generally have no make-up on my face it is great for purify your skin and making it feel fresh.
Then I use the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Spot Clearing Facial Wash. I love Neutrogena products for spot treatment and for me it works really well. It's so good at clearing up blackheads and spots that you have. I haven't broken out as much since I've been using this face wash. The pink grapefruit face wash is also really good and smells great too.
Morning Routine:
The first thing I use in the morning is the Garnier Pure Active Micellar Cleansing Water. In the mornings even though I generally have no make-up on my face it is great for purify your skin and making it feel fresh.
I love using face scrubs especially in the colder weather when my skin becomes dry and not so smooth. I've found that some face scrubs can be too harsh or they don't have an effect on my skin. The best face scrub I've found is the Olay Essentials Smoothing Face Scrub. I have used this for years and it is one of the first skincare products I owned. Straight after use you can feel and see the difference in your skin as it instantly makes it soft.
Toners are very important for tightening pores and making your skin look more matte by minimising blemishes. The Garnier Pure Active Pore Purifying Toner is great for just that. Many toners have reddened my skin further and irritated me but this does exactly what I should and it's such a good match with the Garnier cleanser.
One of the last steps in the morning is my moisturiser. This is one of the most important steps to keep my skin moisturised all day. My recent routine product is Garnier's Moisture Match Light Softening Cream. This instantly smooths your skin and keeps it moisturised right until evening. This is the first Garnier moisturise I used and it's pleased me highly so far.
The last thing I use isn't really part of my skincare routine but I use it everyday straight after so I thought I'd add it, and that is the Carmex Moisturising Lip Balm. This is a personal favourite and I haven't found a lip balm that repairs chapped lips as well as this does. It's great to apply before make-up as well.
Evening Routine:
My evening routine is all the same as the morning one but just with a few product changes.
Before I use my cleanser I use Lacura Facial Cleansing Wipes to remove most of my make-up. I use many different make-up wipes but these are the ones I have at the moment. I don't like using cleanser to remove all of my make-up so I like to use a make-up wipe first to remove most of my make-up and then I'll use my cleanser to remove any last bits and thoroughly clean my face.
The other product that changes in my routine is that instead of the Garnier Moisture Match Cream I use the Garnier Moisture Restore+ Night Care Recovery Gel-Cream. This works wonders over night and leaves your skin fresh and moisturised in the morning. My skin has definitely improved over night and in the mornings you can see the difference.
So, that's my current skincare routine. It generally stays the same apart from when I try out new products. Hope you enjoyed this and it inspired you to help with your skincare routine.

As I found out yesterday, a new hair cut can change your mindset completely. After having long hair for many many years I decided it was time to change it up a bit and chop it all, well a lot of it, off. I could have gone for mid-length, below shoulders but I went with a more drastic change for me and went to my shoulders in a nice long bob. I am so happy with my new hair. It's completely changed the way I look and for now at least it's boosted my confidence...TO A SOLID 2%!!! Strangely I had no nerves when it came to getting it done. I don't know whether it was the amazing staff and atmosphere at the salon or the dire need for a new do but as soon as she cut it off I had no regrets. Already I'm feeling the perks of shorter hair; it doesn't lay flat and the volume boosts; you can style it more; you don't the ends caught in bags and zips; and endless more. To anyone who can't decided whether changing your style completely is for you, just do it. Take the risk like I did and you won't regret it. If people have said that they think you'd love it or it might look great then trust them, they'd tell you not too if they thought it was a bad idea (that's why I'll never go blonde).
