Nyx Lip Lingerie Review
17:55I've always heard good things about Nyx Cosmetics, especially their lip products, and as their Lip Lingerie collection looked to die for I got my hands on a couple to see if they lived up to my expectations.
I picked up the shades Corset: which is a pinky nude with a grey undertone on the lips, and Teddy: a medium brown with a slight pink undertone.
For such affordable products I was very pleased with the quality of them. At first I wasn't too keen on the look of the long, flat rectangle shape of the applicator (from previous experience this can make it quite tricky to apply) but the lipstick applied with such ease. One of my favourite things about the lipstick is the creamy formula. Not only does this help with the application, but it feels and looks so soft on the lips even once it has dried matte. The lipstick is easily buildable, which is a good thing with this product specifically because one of the only major cons of this product is that initially the colour isn't very pigmented. I found that you had to apply a few layers before the true colour really starts to show.
If you are looking for an affordable yet great quality liquid lipstick I would certainly recommend the Nyx Lip Lingerie collection. There's a variety of shades in different nude tones so you're bound to find exactly what you are looking for.
P.S: I've actually just started up my own little homeware/bits and bobs company so it would be awesome if you could check out my instagram for Muppet's Trunk whilst I get it all set up on etsy. They'll be a blog post explaining more soon. Link below.
