Beauty and Skincare Haul // Stila, L'Oreal & More...
12:14There will never be a time of year where I am not constantly buying and trying out products to try and keep up with the latest popular products where I can. Over the past few weeks I have been doing just that to treat myself now and then.
I added to my trusty collection of £1 lipsticks. I am a sucker for these bargains and I thought I'd add another red (Shade 1 - MUA) and a perfect dark purple (100% Vamp - Makeup Revolution). They are always great value for money.
When I finally purchased Divine Wine (975) in the Maybelline Matte collections I was expecting great things. This is my favourite time of year to wear a statement lip and as I usually wear blacks and grey clothes so this colour is the perfect drugstore lip to go with everything!!!
I'd never tried Stila until I saw it in TK Maxx where they do random pieces of it for more than half the price so I couldn't resist. The first thing I got was the colour balm stick in Olivia. I love the cooling and minty effect of it and I'm always looking for more great nude shades to add to the MANY I have.
I'm very fussy with foundation so I struggle to find a drugstore one that I like. When my favourite started to break me out I struggled to find another one, until I finally bought L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24H Matte. And I LOVE IT! They have a great paler shade for me which still has a hint, but not tide line effect, of tan. It is actually MATTE and for those lazy days I can trust I'll be shine free without powder. AND the coverage is beautiful and leaves my skin looking flawless.
Another Stila product I got my hands on is the Custom Color Blush Self-Adjusting Bronze. Even though in the case it glitters, on your face there is none to be seen and it is just pigment heaven. The colour is amazing and after you blend it out your left with a gorgeous bronzed look.
I desperately needed a new powder brush so I picked up a So Eco Powder brush, also from
TK Maxx. It's incredibly soft and so far none of the bristles have fallen out.
Due to the sudden change into bitterly cold weather my skin decided to dry up and break out! I needed a change to my routine and these products have done themselves justice.
L'Oreal Paris Radiance Revealing Gentle Exfoliator, has cleared my skin and given me back the confidence to have makeup free days when my skin needs a breather.
I'd heard great things about coconut oil for your skin and your hair. I've been using it instead of a moisturizer and although it takes a while to sink it it's left my skin so incredibly soft.
