Now that my holiday filled August is approaching I thought it was about time I headed on down to pick up my summer toiletries. I went a bit overboard in Superdrug (my FAVOURITE highstreet drugstore - racking up them points) and got pretty much everything I need, and maybe this will give you some inspiration and what to get for your holidays.



If you're like me in the heat your never fails to fall flat, so I always need a volumising Shampoo and Conditioner. What always work best for me is the TRESemme 24 Hour Body and Volume Shampoo and Conditioner. I've previously mentioned this in a favourites post and it's slowly made it's way into my routine once again.

With the beach and being outside a lot in the summer I don't get to lazy when it comes to washing my hair but it's always handy to have Batiste Dry Shampoo for that little extra boost of texture and volume.

I'm not someone who goes for the fancy shower gels like Body Shop or Soap & Glory, I like to keep it simple and Palmolive is one of my favourite brands. They have loads of amazing scents and it never fails to keep my skin soft and fresh.

If you're getting your legs out alot in the summer you can't afford to only use conditioner and water when it comes to shaving your legs, you need to keep them as moisturized as possible. Gilette's Satin Care is great and with aloe vera it adds that little bit extra care to your skin.

Sun lotion is possibly one of my most loved things about the summer. The smell is my favourite scent of all time. Although the traditional scent is lacking in Piz Buin the quality is certainly all their and although I only need to use a low factor but I like to make sure my coverage is good and skin is protected as best as it can.

After watching one of Niomi Smart's recent videos where her and her family share their beauty secrets I thought I would give Johnson's Baby Oil a go to see if it keeps my skin moisturized in the sun.

Mitchum Deodrant is the only one i can trust, especially in the summer heat. That's all.

One of my must have's an a great all rounder is the Banana Boat Aloe Vera Gel. Aloe Vera Gel is great for many many things so I use it all the time. It's great as an after sun as it soothes your exposed skin and it's also great for clearing your skin.

My all time favourite moisturizer is Nivea Soft Moisturizing Cream. It's the first one I ever used and I still haven't found anything that keeps my skin mositurised this well. You can use it all over your body but I just use it for my face.
