In the midst of all the diamonds and crystals, futuristic and vintage fashion, I've collected together my top 10 looks from the Met Gala 2016.

Lily Rose Depp in Chanel - This classic Chanel print dress is brought straight into the 2016 trends with the deep v halterneck and ankle grazing length.

Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace - There were many cutout gowns this year but by far Kate Hudson's silver trimmed with tulle skirt dress was my favourite.

Amber Heard in Ralph Lauren Collection - Amber Heard went for a gorgeous classic silk gown to match her elegant hair and makeup choice, something which unfortunately doesn't normally occur on the red carpet these days, with the need to stand out in gowns which are more daring.

Emma Stone in Prada - I fell in love with the medieval style silver corset matched with the simple white gown Emma chose for the Met Gala this year.

Nicole Kidman in Alexander McQueeen - To me nothing screams beauty more than the moon and stars, and Nicole Kidman literally wore them in this beautiful encrusted McQueen gown and cape.

Lupita Nyong'o in Calvin Klein Collection - Ever since Lupita has been stepping foot on the red carpet she has stolen hearts with her excellent taste in fashion, and last night was no exception in this shimmering green piece.

Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen - The complimenting black and gold outfits of the identical twins was a great contrasting look to stand out in the sea of metallic futurism at the Met this year.

Selena Gomez in Louis Vuitton - An angle length dress and a pure 90's vibe are somewhat a perfect pairing in Selena Gomez's controversial look. This is everything I love about simple red carpet style, especially with the military style boots (which made quite a few appearances last night).
