November Favourites

BLOGMAS HAS STARTED!!! This is definitely going to be a push to put up content everyday but the 'Christmas Spirit' has got me determined. As December has just arrived (where has this year gone???) I wanted to share my November Favourites! I love reading and writing monthly favourites so I'm so excited to finally be doing one again!

On the beauty front I've been experimenting and the two products in my favourites I mentioned and raved about in my recent beauty haul - if you haven't seen it, check it out here.
It's been a while since I've found something that keeps my skin as soft and hydrated as coconut oil. Although some brands of Coconut Oil can be a tad pricey, you can also get some at a really reasonable price and it's not just great for your skin but also restoring the softness and strength in your hair.

L'Oreal Paris Infallible 24H Matte is by far my favourite foundation of the month, and definitely drugstore favourite of the year. The formulation is perfect for the finish, and coverage I want and if you want an affordable perfect matte finish then go get it now!

I've tried on so many different looks in the changing rooms this month but due to my rather empty bank account I haven't been able to fully adore many fashion items in person. My main favourite though is an all black look which I think from now on I really want to reform my wardrobe into a monochrome and grunge heaven (the devils in hell are singing right now!) I've admired it closely on Pinterest and tried to start adding a few things here and there to my wardrobe. The piece I love the most this month is a black knitted jumper from H&M - here . It's so comfy and I adore the side split and high/low touch. You can wear it dressed up with heels for a meal out or dressed down for a quick trip to town, either way it's cosy and warm and I LOVE IT!

I have watched a shameful amount of Netflix this month. My favourite of a few months now but I something I have watched a lot of particularly in November is Grey's Anatomy. I may not understand half the medical terms which take up 25% of the dialogue but the other 75% has me hooked on every line, and every new season they add another 10 characters for you to either hate then love or instantly love the second they come on the screen. I get emotionally attached to TV programmes and I certainly was the minute I started watching this. I would 100000% recommend it! If can get it on American Netflix, Sky Go, and probably a lot of other places online.

As usual I am always listening to music and thanks to Spotify I'm always discovering bands that I've never listened to before. I've known who The Wonder Years are for a while now but I hadn't heard them until their new album No Closer To Heaven came up. Their song Cigarettes & Saints has been on repeat an I am not yet sick of it!

I actually have a lot of gigs to go to next year which I am VERY excited about and the first one is Speak Low If You Speak Love. I discovered these because a member of one of my favourite bands State Champs, Ryan Scott Graham, is the front man of this band. I really liked their music and when I saw that they were doing a few acoustic shows at the start of next year I was totally up for going which spurred me to listen to them even more.

My favourite app this month is INSTAGRAM! I love it anyway but I've been changing my theme to really make it into my aesthetic so if you're not following you are REALLY missing out!! insta: emksmi
