So, my 2013 heart is screaming about this one, and my 2015 heart is beating pretty fast too. On 5th June I went to see 5 Seconds of Summer at the Barclaycard Arena (former NIA) in Birmingham. After getting the tickets in April/June last year (I think) you could say I was more than excited.

Before the gig me and my friend Izzy spent the day in Birmingham and we went to the Handmade Burger Co, I'd been desperate to go ever since I knew they did vegan burger, and boy was it amazing.

This was my sixth time seeing them (no shame) and it was certainly one of the best! For me, they are 100% better live than they are on CD (just listen to their live CD and you'll understand). They sound way more 'pop punk' live and there talent is so under appreciated! I was lucky enough to get tickets in Standing Pod 2 (I was so glad because I don't think I'd have handled seating: it's so restricted) in front of Calum, I was certainly not complaining *blushes immensely*. To say it was overwhelming that they were in an arena is an understatement. I was one of those people back in May 2013 who saw them at the O2 Academy 2 in Birmingham which has the capacity of just 600.

I was in the section with the red arrow.

As I said it was one of the best times I've seen them live and I enjoyed every song to the max. My favourite songs of the night where End Up Here, Out Of My Limit, Rejects, American Idiot, Amnesia, Beside You, Heartache On The Big Screen and my number one favourite of the night Wrapped Around Your Finger. On the EP I am not a fan of Wrapped Around Your Finger but it was so different live and by far the best. It was good to hear a song where Michael could have his moment and just the whole performance of it was incredible. If it was a more well known song it would be killer to finish with it and I was blown away by how much I enjoyed it. Beside You, a classic favourite, was just as good as every other time and Amnesia was so special.

I was disappointed that they didn't do Try Hard because it's always been a favourite of mine and also it was off not hearing Teenage Dream but I certainly can't complain because the setlist was still incredible.

Did anyone else go and see them at this date or any other?! What did you think?
