New Skincare Routine // featuring Sebamed and Magnitone Lucid Review
10:05
I haven't posted as much as I'd have liked to recently due to it being exam time but thank god they are nearly over. After these few weeks though I am off until September so get ready for many more posts!
So recently I've wanted to try out some new skincare products and go back to a few old favourites because as much as my old skincare routine was working, it certainly could have been better.
I still use the same Olay Face Scrub and Garnier Night Cream which I did previously because I am yet to find something that works as well for me. (blog post about them here). I also still use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water but I changed it up to their new soothing one for sensitive skin. This is probably one of my most recommended and must have products as it cleanses and clears make-up from your skin insanely well.
I've also gone back to one of my old favourites which I regret ever giving up. That is the Nivea Soft Moisturising Cream. I have used this product for years and every time I do my skin always improves. After leaving this product for a few months I decided to go back and I've fallen in love with it all over again.
Two of the biggest changes recently to my skincare have been the Sebamed and Magnitone products.
I needed some skincare products which would be gentler on my skin as at my moment my skin has become very sensitive. The constant change of hot, cold and rainy weather is NOT helping at all. Sebamed sent me some of their products in their clear face routine to try out. One of the things that attracted me was the neutral value they had. With most products at a pH Value of 5.5 (neutral being 7) I was drawn to the products instantly and wanted to try out something 'friendly' on my skin. I have been so happy with how it has cleared my skin and reduced the spots and impurities.

Along with this I recently recieved a Magnitone Lucid Facial Cleansing Brush. I have been wanting one of these for a long time as I had only heard good things about them. And I have been very impressed. For the first day or two your skin does seem to break out as all the impurities and bacteria below your skin are released but straight away you can feel the difference in the softness of your skin. After those few days pass your skin clears up instantly, I have noticed such a difference especially if I forget to for a day and I wouldn't go back to a skincare routine without it. A bonus with the Magnitone Lucid is that it comes with a portable charger (the white oval thing) and it's 100% waterproof!
The lovely people over at Magnitone have given me a code for you guys to get 20% off when you buy a Magnitone Lucid. The Discount Code is : EmmaS20
